SECyTA will sponsor grants for PhD students who are members of the Society to attend the conference and present their work.

Analytical Chemistry Division of the Italian Chemical Society

The Division of Analytical Chemistry has decided to fund three scholarships for Italian students or early-career researchers under the age of 35 (BSc, MSc and single-cycle degree students, PhD students, post-doctoral researchers, RTD-A positions) of up to 400 Eur (early-bird registration). Eligible applicants must have an abstract accepted for the 44th International Symposium on Capillary Chromatography (ISCC) and the 21st GC×GC Symposium. The Division of Analytical Chemistry will reimburse the exact registration fee for the selected event, up to a maximum of 400 Eur in the case of the combined option.
Applicants must submit their candidacy by 1 February 2026 to the President of the Division of Analytical Chemistry via the dedicated online form, attaching a PDF copy of the scientific contribution (abstract) submitted to the conference.

Chromaleont

Chromaleont will provide a certain number of 500.00 Eur travel grants as a reimbursement of expenses for participation for PhD students or academic post-docs presenting posters or talks at the ISCC and GC×GC 2026 symposia with preference given to candidates studying at European institutions.

Interested candidates who have already registered to the conferences may apply by emailing to Prof. Paola Dugo at pdugo@unime.it. Please, enclose a letter requesting consideration for the grant, a letter of recommendation from an advisor, and a PDF of the submitted abstract. The applicant must be the first authors and presenter of the poster or lecture.

The deadline to apply for a student/postdoc travel grant is February 1, 2026.
