Francesco Cacciola

Prof. Dr. Francesco Cacciola is Full Professor of Food Chemistry at the Dipartimento of “Dipartimento di “Scienze Chimiche, Biologiche, Farmaceutiche ed Ambientali “ of the University Messina, Italy. He received his Ph.D. in “Food Chemistry and Safety” at the University of Messina in 2009. In September 2018, The International Scientific journal “The Analytical Scientist" has included the candidate in the international list of the 40 most influential scientists "under 40" in the Analytical Sciences- Analytical Scientist's 2018 Power List "Top 40 under 40" for the application of advanced analytical techniques to the characterization of food and natural products. His research interests include conventional and innovative LC techniques for the study of bioactive compounds e.g. polyphenols contained in complex natural matrices.
